“I see interior decorating as an art form in which you can really convey the personality and thoughts of the person using the space.”
She and her sister have redecorated dozens of plain bedrooms for friends and family members. One thing that she has discovered is that things even as basic as a headboard can completely change the entire feel of a space.
“As a coxswain on the Women’s Rowing Team at the University of Texas, I’ve improved my leadership skills and learned what it means to be devoted to a team. I also find inspiration for interior design when on the water, from the beautiful scene of the sun setting on Lady Bird Lake to how the boat gracefully parts the still water.”
